Elementary school Ante Starčević, Rešetari has a 180 year old educational tradition. We strive to provide a pleasant environment, based on mutual respect and solidarity, and to establish a culture of learning that raises responsible individuals. Teachers use modern technology, respect their students, gladly cooperate with parents and the community and constantly enhance their educational work. Students regularly attend competitions and festivals, and have won many prizes. Our school is open to all contacts with parents, associations and municipality.
Our school conducts a preventive program that includes human life in general and relationship with self, peers and the wider community; CAP program (Child Assault Prevention) - primary prevention of child abuse; charity programs relating to cooperation between schools and humanitarian organizations; Thanksgiving, which teaches children to be thankful for the fruits of the earth.

Primary School St. Cyril and St. Methodius is an educational institution. The school is located in a relatively backward economic region with center Kardzhali. There live about 42 000 inhabitants of the three ethnic groups represented in the country - Bulgarians, Bulgarian Turks and Roma. The city has ancient roots and its surroundings are historic sites of world significance - Perperikon and Tatul, and many natural attractions - lakes, caves and fossils.
The school is the largest Primary school in Kardzhali region, which trained 500 students from kindergarten to seventh grade / 7 to age 14. There are and children with Special Educational Needs, pupils at risk of social exclusion, orphans and those with one parent or guardian. More than 15 years at school we taught advanced foreign languages - English, German and Russian. Our children achieve excellent results at international, national and regional level in foreign languages, Mathematics, Art and Music.
